When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.
Macy and Jimmy’s wedding day was AMAZING and I couldn’t wait to blog so I could share all the details and sneaks from last weekend.
Macy and Jimmy are two of the most loyal people I have ever met! Their friends and family obviously agree because throughout the entire day, so many people were talking about just how special they are together. Jimmy’s mom said during her speech that they make each other’s sun shine brighter – I seriously don’t know that I have ever heard anything truer! Their love story began when they met on Tinder – so many people may joke with them about it, but it obviously worked out for the best!
We started the day behind because we had a hiccup and the bride was having terrible heartburn, so she took a power nap! Making time for a nap on your wedding day… 10/10 recommend! She woke up feeling refreshed and we caught up with no issues and time to spare! I like to think that is my specialty, making sure we capture every moment with ample time or not enough!
The groomsmen arrived by boat, which was so cool! Macy and Jimmy decided to include their puppies in their ceremony too and they were just precious! Once they started the ceremony, you could feel their love just radiate throughout so many special touches. Both Macy and Jimmy lost their dads before their special day, so they made sure they were acknowledged and remembered. . . I know they had the best seats there! One of the flower girls left the ceremony crying because she was touched so much by their ceremony. It was so sweet to see the tender heart of a child even notice their love together.
When saying their vows, Jimmy said “I do, absolutely”! I loved how he emphasized all day how lucky he was to be marrying her! The preacher/friend even said he told Jimmy “not to mess this up” because of how special Macy is!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Silver are in for a beautiful marriage together!
