When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.

Sweet Love Story at Maola Riverside // Kyley + Nick

I love all of my bride and grooms so much but couples like Kyley and Nick really remind me how much I love what I do!

Kyley’s bridals were super rainy, so we didn’t get to use the venue like we wanted to. We were bummed but started praying for clear skies on their wedding day. Obviously, all those prayers worked because after their wedding day started as overcast, the sun peeked through and warmed up a bit – it was the PERFECT wedding weather!

Their wedding day was a long time coming. . . Kyley and Nick have been together since they were 14! It is so clear how much they both adore each other and how their love has blossomed and flourished over the years. Nick’s unwavering adoration for Kyley was evident in every gesture, he complimented her the entire day and kissed her hand every chance he got. It’s clear that their bond is destined to stand the test of time and I feel so blessed to be able to witness love such as theirs.

As their wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of forming a deeper connection with Kyley and Nick throughout the planning process. What began as a professional relationship quickly evolved into a genuine friendship! They got to meet Stella at their engagement session and we quickly bonded over Nick and my husband, Chandler’s love for golf. After Kyley + Nick went to the Masters, they brought us the coolest Masters gear and I will never be able to thank them enough for that!!! Nick officially met Chandler during their reception via FaceTime. Growing with my couples as they plan their weddings makes us officially feel like family by the end.

The wedding day itself was a true celebration of love and unity, with friends and family coming together from near and far to celebrate Nick and Kyley. From Kyley’s childhood friend traveling all the way from Hawaii to join in the festivities to the heartfelt moments shared between the couple and their loved ones, the day was filled with joy and happiness.

Although, I am sad to see them change from bride and groom to husband and wife (and not talk to them monthly). . .c I am so excited to see what is in store for them in the future as they grow their family!!

Cheers to Kyley and Nick, and to the countless memories yet to be made!
