When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.
Ashley + Cooper’s wedding day was a DREAM come true! All of the classic black and white touches made everything feel so timeless and romantic.
I shot their proposal at the Grantham House, then their engagement photos in the mountains last fall, Ashley’s bridals at Rose Hill Estate and now their wedding day! Ashley and Cooper have always included their sweet Australian Sheppard, Everly (y’all know how I love those sweet dogs!) – and Everly was actually the reason why we took photos the morning of their proposal. . . or so Ashley thought!
The wedding venue was down a long, lit pathway and was truly stunning! When I pulled up that morning, I knew it would be a gorgeous day. They started the morning getting ready in side-by-side cabins. They were the perfect little getting ready set up!
The ceremony started at 4:30 and since we knew it would be dark shortly after, Ashley and Cooper opted for a first look. We were able to knock out most all of their portraits prior to the ceremony. It made more an even more fun and exciting transition into the reception!
They finished the night under lots of twinkly lights and glow sticks. Ashley and Cooper were surrounded by so much love and you could just feel how honored their guests were to celebrate them!
