When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.

Jared and Mallory // Fall Barn Wedding

This year has been so special, as I’ve had the honor of photographing not one, but two weddings for this amazing family! Mallory and Cailee are some of the sweetest sisters I’ve ever met, and it’s been such a joy getting to know their families. Their mom often joked about how wild it was to plan two weddings just five months apart, but her secret? “The girls made it so easy for me.” Cailee’s beautiful summer wedding back in June is on the blog (scroll down to check it out!), but today, it’s all about Mallory and Jared’s special day!

Mallory and Jared tied the knot on a gorgeous fall day at Twin Oaks in Garner. The barn venue was the perfect setting for their love story. Jared’s customized belt buckle, gifted by his aunt, and his boots were the perfect nod to the rustic charm of the day. The florals, designed by Todd Miller with The Town Florist, added a stunning touch and tied everything together so beautifully!

Some of my favorite moments? Jared writing a special note on the bottom of Mallory’s shoes, the first look with her grandpa (you know how much I love grandparent moments!), and their sweet grandma stealing the show as the flower girl. We also had a funny, unforgettable moment when the moms accidentally opened each other’s gifts—Cailee’s reaction had everyone laughing and will definitely be a memory they cherish forever!

The reception was full of life, with DJ Phil keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. A surprise from the groomsmen—custom hats—was a fun touch that added even more personality to the celebration. Under the warm barn lights, Mallory and Jared danced the night away before heading out through a tunnel of sparklers. The bridal party was waiting at the end of the line to send them off, making for such a special and heartfelt send-off moment.

Mallory and Jared’s day was filled with laughter, love, and memories they’ll treasure forever. Enjoy a peek at some of my favorite moments from their beautiful fall wedding!
