When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.

Lee Wedding

When you shoot a wedding almost every weekend out of the year, you are bound to meet countless brides and grooms. Some sweet, some nice, some sensible – no matter the type of personality, one of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is certainly getting to discover and connect with countless individuals from different walks of life. Megan and Chris Lee were no exception.

I remember the first time I met these two, at an engagement session that Megan booked in March. Although they were reserved and quiet at first, over the past few months, we’ve built the relationship that every bride and groom should aspire to have with their wedding photographer.

THE BIG DAY!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve blogged a wedding, but I thought there was no better way to get back into the groove of things than with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Lee. We could not have asked for better weather, which complimented the inviting atmosphere of their venue and the fall-inspired color palette. Megan, of course, caused a couple of tears to fall in her beautiful gown, supplied by Coastal Knot Bridal #coastalknotbride. Even dad had trouble keeping it together.

A beautiful ceremony was followed by an even better reception, filled with tons of food, drinks, laughter, and dancing. If there’s one thing any guest probably remembers about the menu that night, it would HAVE TO BE the amazing mac n cheese from Southern Smoke BBQ. I must say though, the wine slushies were a close second.

Overall, I could not have asked for a more kind, loving, and respectful couple than Chris and Megan. I’m so glad they included me in their wedding journey and I sincerely hope these pictures showcase all of the amazing things that transpired through the love that Mr. and Mrs. Lee share.
