When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.
One of the first things I learned about Miranda was her intense passion for making other women feel beautiful in their own skin, which she explained is the reason she became a hair dresser. This was one of many instances when Miranda gave me the impression that her inner beauty was just as strong as her outer. My grandma used to always tell me when I was a little girl that “pretty is as pretty does,” and to this day, that has stuck with me. Miranda reminded me of that saying. There is no doubt in my mind that she is pretty in every aspect, so just as she said she enjoys making other women feel beautiful, I hoped to make Miranda feel beautiful throughout this shoot.
We started our shoot as Miranda finished getting ready. Miranda looked like a true supermodel in a bridal commercial… I mean seriously, it’s not fair how beautiful she is.
OKAY, I think we’re ready now 😉
Every princess needs their grand staircase to walk down, and Miranda is no exception.
Next we moved into this amazing open space, yet somehow Miranda’s presence stretched throughout the entire photograph. I’m telling y’all, she could be model!
I have to admit though, she did have some help filling up this big room!
As we began to wrap up the shoot, we decided to move outside and capture some pretty amazing shots.
To Miranda, it was a pleasure to work with you, throughout the entire experience. I am so grateful you allowed me the opportunity to capture some pretty awesome times in your life. You did not disappoint and as a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better client!
