When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.
Logan and Matt’s wedding was unlike any I’ve ever photographed, and it was absolutely unforgettable. It was my first morning wedding, and after experiencing their special day, I think I’ve fallen in love with the charm of early celebrations!
We started bright and early at 7 AM, with the ceremony kicking off at 11 AM. The brunch that followed, complete with a coffee bar, was a total hit—such a refreshing twist on the typical wedding meal!
What truly stood out to me was how Logan and Matt made their ceremony so personal and meaningful. They put so much thought into every detail. One of my favorite moments was seeing their moms stand before everyone else, watching Logan make her way down the aisle. They also shared communion with their guests and invited their parents to pray over them during the ceremony, which was such a powerful and touching moment of worship.
Choosing to do a first look was a brilliant decision because it gave us double the bride and groom photos and really maximized our time together. These moments turned out to be some of the most beautiful shots of the day.
The reception was just as special, with one of the highlights being a song that Logan’s dad had made especially for her. It was such a heartfelt gift, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. They ended the day with a magical bubble exit, followed by a grand departure in a horse and carriage—seriously, how sweet is that?
