When I'm not in the Chik-fil-A drive thru, with my family or petting a stranger's puppy, I'm capturing images of the sweetest Southern love I can find. Here's a peek at the work I love to do and the people who don't make it feel like work at all.
Sydney and Austin are truly the best, and photographing their wedding was an absolute joy! Their day was filled with so many special touches that made it unique and memorable.
One of the coolest things was Sydney’s custom perfume bottle. She designed it herself at Disney Springs and even had their wedding date engraved on it. During their ceremony, they included a communion and a rose ceremony, which was a first for me and added such a meaningful touch.
The day was also marked by the bittersweet presence of Sydney’s grandma, who had passed away just the day before. Her spirit was definitely felt throughout the day, and we were blessed with gorgeous weather after two weeks of rain, almost as if she was watching over us.
Sydney had a touching first look with her brother, and their dance at the reception was so emotional—I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. In a beautiful gesture, Sydney gave her bouquet to her mom, honoring her grandma’s memory in the sweetest way.
There were so many heartfelt moments and unique touches that made Sydney and Austin’s wedding day one to remember. It was a day filled with love, emotion, and so many unforgettable memories. I’m so grateful to have been part of their special day and to have captured all these amazing moments!
